DUSCR generally holds a tour at least once a term, ranging from day-trips to full-blown weeks away.
Michaelmas Term sees the day-long Freshers' Tour organised by the secretary during the first few weeks - this usually stays within the D&N. The Dinner Day Tour takes place towards the end of term, and ventures a little further afield than the Freshers' trip. Over recent years, we've also had joint tours with the University of Edinburgh Guild of Change Ringers, with whom we have forged close links - these tend to consist of a weekend visiting a different area of Scotland, in a roughly three-year cycle.
Epiphany Term contains the Treasurer's Tour, which is a day out - the last few years has seen us visit southern County Durham, northern Yorkshire and York itself.
Easter Term finishes with the 5 day-long Summer Tour to a far-off county and is one of the highlights of the year. Previous trips have visited Lincolnshire, the Lake District and Lancashire.
