Who are We?

We are Durham University Student Volunteering and Outreach, Durham University’s largest volunteering organisation, and we provide volunteering opportunities for students that have a meaningful and lasting impact on the people and communities we work with.

Across the Univeristy, we run over 50 volunteering projects in Durham. These projects vary from tutoring to gardening and from working with at risk adults to walking dogs.

Projects that anyone in the community can refer people to are:

Serving the Community

DU Student Volunteering and Outreach is passionate about serving the community to the best of our abilities. For instance, we sit on the Durham Council Area Action Partnership (AAP).

If you have any suggestions or comments on how we can best serve the community please get in contact.

Perhaps you are a local community organisation in need of volunteers? We have over 1000 active student volunteers and hundreds more on our books. If you are looking for more volunteers why don’t you get in contact?
