POLICY
(HEFCE)
Open access requirement for post-2014 REF

To be eligible for submission, journal articles and conference papers which are accepted for publication after 1 April 2016, and which have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN), must be available in an open access form:

NOTES
REF Panels will continue to assess the final published version of journal articles and conference proceedings as in previous assessment exercises. Depositing the author's accepted version in a repository satisfies the open access eligibility requirement.
