Yet again, the mean air temperature was above average. We need to go back 21 months to March 2006 to find a below-average month in Durham, a quite remarkable run. November was the equal 23rd warmest since 1850. The maximum of 17°C on the 2nd was the warmest November day since 1982.

Other climatic variables were all around average. As in October, wind speeds were below average, another relatively calm month.
