Grant Ingram's University Website.

I am currently senior lecturer in Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics in the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at Durham University. I am also on twitter and take mediocre photographs.

The views contained in social networking sites and external web pages are my personal views and do not represent the views of Durham University.

I have published an electronic book about turbomachinery which you can download at no cost from bookboon.com.

I was also delighted to win the PE Publishing Prize for the best paper published in the Journal of Power and Energy in 2008 along with my co-authors. The papers were published in issue A1 of Volume 222, pages 93-102 and 103-110, and were available free online but the links no longer work.

I have two primary research interests:

I am always keen to hear from potential PhD students, please drop me an e-mail to enquire. Note that I very rarely have funding for overseas students.

If you are doing one of my courses and you wish to see me about it, you need to sign up for tutorial (or office) hours. Regretably the only way to sign up for these is to use the old fashioned bit of paper on my door!

This site contains information that is (hopefully) of wider interest than just to students doing my courses. If you are doing one of my courses you should be able to find the material on the Durham University Online site, otherwise know as duo.

These webpages also host software I have developed either on my own or in collaboration with other people and teaching materials. This can be found in download section.
