The Association has set up a mentoring scheme for members. Some staff, particularly but not solely mid-career, find themselves in institutions where there is no senior Hispanist who can act as a mentor to support their career development. The new scheme (set up in January 2017) is designed to match up members in need of advice with senior Hispanists from other institutions willing to give of their time to help younger colleagues. The Association acts as an intermediary to bring mentor and applicant together, and reimburses reasonable travel expenses.
If you wish to take advantage of the scheme, complete the application form and e-mail it to the Scheme Director at the address given on the form.
