We will offer 25 scholarships at $800/each to cover the registration fee and contribute to travel and lodging expenses for US students and Early-Career Researchers outside of central New York presenting a poster. These scholarships are supported by National Science Foundation (Award No. 1832278). The awards of these scholarships will be judged based on the quality of submitted abstracts, which will be evaluated in terms of (1) relevance to the topics of the conference; (2) scientific contribution; (3) structure of the abstract; (4) scientific soundness; and (5) written quality. We will consider a gender balance and favor under-represented students and Early-Career Researchers (ECRs).

An ECR is defined here as either a current post-doctoral researcher or anyone who has been an assistant professor for no more than three years.  Please provide supporting details below.

To be eligible for consideration for funding, please submit the form below, attaching an extended abstract (one-page maximum) by August 30, 2018. The extended abstract should include text (title, affiliation, purpose of study, methods, key results and conclusions) and figures (methods and/or results).
