The long term goal of my research is to determine how the nervous system computes and represents 3D spatial structure from sensory information through vision, source-hearing, echolocation and proprioception, and how it uses spatial representations to generate responses, such as perceptual reports or motor actions. In the context of this goal, I am currently pursuing the following lines of research:
