Ross Parker

Ross joined Durham in June 2016 as the newest member of the Learning Technologies Team and is the primary contact for the Faculty of Science. His role is to support and advise people in the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching. Ross can help staff find ways of using technology to further improve the quality of existing teaching materials in a way that meets the demands of today’s digitally-literate students.

In addition to his knowledge of duo and its related-technologies, Ross has particular experience of designing user-friendly and intuitive online learning environments and how video can be used as a tool for learning and teaching.

Before joining Durham, Ross gained significant experience at Teesside University as part of their Learning and Teaching Enhancement Team.
