A short set of pictures from a trip (ODL) to the Simonside hills in Northumberland. Although not as wet as the previous Hadrian’s Wall outing, the overcast sky was not very photo friendly.

Views of the scenic Northumberland market town of Rothbury [55 18 34 N, 1 54 43 W].

Board walk across boggy moorland in this Simonside hills. Curiously the hills are associated with their own particular race of malicious dwarves, the Duergar.

Return leg heading back to the car park [55 16 60 N, 1 55 7 W].
