Our men’s and women’s football teams were floodlit finalists and our women’s team won the premier league.
Here at Snow, we cater for all sporting abilities and will encourage you to take part and have a go at something, even if you have never played before! We also encourage students to set up any sports teams that we do not currently have at Snow, an example being the recently set up John Snow Womens Rugby Team. Sport also has huge social benefits, with regular socials being held termly, you’ll find you will have made friends in no time!
We have a dedicated sports officer, Alex Nikolatos who is responsible for looking after our sports teams, liaising with Team Durham, College, and the JCR to champion the interests of College Sports and ensure they have the funds and facilities needed to achieve their full potential. If you have any questions about College Sports or would like to create a new team then do not hesitate to get in touch with our Sports Officer Alex via email: alexander.nikolatos@durham.ac.uk
