The symposium ‘What are the hurdles to renewable energy supply at scale in South Africa’ was held at Breakwater Lodge, Graduate School of Business, Cape Town, 28 May 2015. It was hosted by the Energy Research Centre of the University of Cape Town. Funding from the University of Durham is gratefully acknowledged.
The symposium brought together members of the renewable energy industry, national and local government, civil society and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities of renewable energy development in South Africa. A list of speakers and their profiles is available here.
