Our wide range of projects were all dreamt up by students, started up by students, and are now managed on a daily basis, with exceptional professionalism, by students.

Student Community Action organises a variety of events throughout the academic year, which aims to engage with people of all ages in the local community.

We want to make sure that as a volunteer you feel confident and well prepared for volunteering on your projects. You’ll find information about the training sessions running each term to equip you for your volunteering.

My daughter has been attending the Maths tutor sessions and has found the lessons invaluable. She would like to continue her tutor sessions and if it is possible to enrol for further tuition in Biology, Geography and Physics

It’s been great working with a group of enthusiastic and like-minded people running such a worthwhile organisation. I’ve got to know some lovely people in the local community, worked with some fantastic local organisations – and my role has been ideal for the competency questions for job applications!

It would certainly not be an overstatement to say that CATSS [Children Achieving Through Student Support] and the students that comprise it have done nothing less than change this little boy’s life
