Welcome to St. John's

St. John's College was established in 1909 and is one of the two independent colleges of the University of Durham (the other being St. Chad's College). It is also the second smallest college of Durham (again, St Chad's College being the smallest), giving the student community a strong college family feeling. Best known to other colleges by its characteristic windy corridors, nowhere remotely interesting is outside of walking distance from the college grounds.
