Chamonix, Sep 2005: After an uncharacteristically wet start to the conference week, the weather had returned to flawless for the Wednesday afternoon break. The views from the Aiguille du Midi viewing area made the cable car fee worthwhile:
Ridge down towards la Vallée Blanche.
Traverse towards Mont Blanc (left off picture).
