Wooded glens: (L) Jumble Hole Clough, (R) Colden Water [53 45 0 N, 2 3 2 W]
This huge abandoned chimney (Jason is at the bottom for scale!) appeared out of nowhere [53 45 1 N, 2 2 18 W]. This probably belonged to the Lower Slater Ing Mill.
Bradford Industrial Museum
The Bradford Industrial Museum is based in an old worsted mill (Moorside Mills).
Bradford’s very own car marque, Jowett.
Car show
Cars old and not-so-old on show at Witton Castle [54 50 5 N, 1 45 48 W], next to the village of Witton-le-Wear.
This Morris post van (L) was my favourite, followed perhaps by this splendid racing car (R).
Fantastic vintage car (L) and decidedly more rugged ancient tractor (R).
The church at nearby Escomb [54 39 58 N, 1 42 29 W] was founded in 670-675 and is one of the oldest Anglo-Saxon churches in England.
