SUPERGEN Wind at EWEA 2013

ewea2013

The European Wind Energy Association Annual Event 2013 (EWEA 2013) saw a high-profile SUPERGEN Wind attendance.

Following the success of previous years, the Consortium and its partners directly contributed 8 of the 12 UK Scientific Track papers, close to matching the full input from Denmark (9 papers) and surpassing Germany (7 papers).

Prof. Peter Tavner, (Durham) led the Scientific Track on behalf of the European Academy of Wind Energy with other SUPERGEN Wind academics chairing sessions on large wind farm power systems and improved operations and maintenance.

Congratulations to Bindi Chen (PhD Student, Durham) and Laura O’Kane (PhD Student, Strathclyde) who were both awarded poster prizes in the Scientific Track.
